I began reading and writing poetry in earnest in my senior year in high school. Since then poetry has been my passion, and my poison. It has been my way of recording, and reflecting on the changes and chances of this weary life. Poetry, for me, involves seeing the Thing within the thing: The reality within the reality. It involves holding a mirror to society so that society can see itself and either laugh at its foolishness, or gasp in horror.
