I'm a southern girl to the core. I grew up on a farm in SC, lived in middle Tennessee for 25 years, and now reside in SOUTHERN Arizona in the high Sonoran Desert. We are surrounded by mountains and enjoy the finest weather in the continental US.
Logging is an important industry in my home state of South Carolina. As a youngster, I saw far too many decimated forests.
My mystery books, "Deadfall" set in Oregon's Siskiyou National Forest and "Clearcut" set in North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest reflect my love and concern for the preservation of our treasure in trees.
