AS a young girl I often dreamt of writing novels, but it never occurred to me to pursue it in a professional sense. College was not an option, so I went ahead with the things in life that those around me expected. Marriage. Children. Then some things came along that I didn't expect. Divorce. Single-parenting. It was a time to discover my own inner growth that eventually led to another phase. Second chances and a blended family. All rewarding, sometimes challenging experiences, but it left no time for writing.
Years later I was nudged out of a sound sleep late one night by a realization: I was called to write! Right then I turned on the computer and started writing down one of the stories floating around in my head. Slowly, through practice, patience and perseverance, I became a novice writer with published pieces.
God's prompting me to action opened my eyes to a wondrous world of writing that I love. In obedience to Him, I can now say I am the published author of my first book, "Hidden Heritage...the Story of Paul LaRoche."
