Background

My love of reading and storytelling came from my mother, my curiosity and love of learning, from my father. I began writing in elementary school and filled spiral notebooks with stories and story ideas.
After teaching grammar and creative writing for 34+ years, I took the materials I have developed over the years and turned them into a grammar workbook that teachers throughout Texas and New Mexico say they really enjoy using with their students, too. Simple Steps to Sentence Sense is now available as an ebook C.D. from Author's Den, or as a download from teacherspayteachers.com.
I have recently posted several products on TeachersPayTeachers.com that should prove very useful to educators.

Here's the latest review of The Rebecca Bride by Anne K. Edwards:
"You can't hide from life. Or yourself. Those two things will follow you, no matter where you go as Zeke Milligan learned.
Zeke was on the lam, so to speak, living in Timberon, Colorado, where he met Lynn Weeks who, too, was hiding out. He was hiding from the law and she was recovering from a broken affair.
Zeke and Lynn were drawn together, but Zeke's secret past got in their way and he knew he had to find a way to put it to rest so they could be happy. But, more than one trouble stood between them.
Emotions run high as misunderstandings pile one on the other. It seems that just being in love may not be enough for Zeke and Lynn. Talented author Charlene Tess skillfully guides the reader through the maze of relationships and confusion. Lifelike characters invite you into their lives as they struggle to find themselves. Written with a light touch and understanding of the human psyche, this is a book to please any romantic. Recommended as a satisfying and fun read."
