I am 60 and I have been very fortunate to work with children and adults with severe
disabilties for over 30 years.I live in California and have had the privledge of
advocating for people who have mental illness for many years. I facilitate spiritual
retreats using music, dance, art, and sharing. My mother is 96 and going strong.I
tend to try things that I have never done before so my life is really an adventure. For
me it is all about sharing the love of Jesus, even though I am very human and
make mistakes. I try and have respect for everyone I meet because I see them as
beloved sisters and brothers of God.I have much to learn about people and
growing in my faith, however I think I have learned some things that I share in Joyful
Surrender.
I have written as a hobby for 20 years I have a book published called Joyful
Surrender. It tells of how I went from feeling I had no purpose and being sexually
abused to a very joyful life ,and decided to take vows to help me stay focused on
my commitment to follow God. It tells of the steps that helped me make the vows. It
starts with being a seeker, follower ,then sister/brother of Jesus. The reviews from
people who have read it have been very good. One woman was almost crying and
said everyone should read this book.I am very excited about it. I had a wonderful
review from www.womensselfesteem.com,.. You can see the interview and review
from womens self esteem on my reviews link. You can order Joyfull Surrender from
this website or you can order it from www.amazon.com. It is available to order at
any Christian book store also.Thank you for considering reading my book. I have
an agent who is representing me with a book called Praying Daily With Jesus. The
publisher is Standard Publishing, which is a very good Christian publisher. I have
two childrens books that I am hoping to get published.
I have a book called Living With Hope and Courage in
which I am looking for a publisher.
. I am currently working on a manuscript called He Hears Our Cry.I have about nine
other manuscriipts. One is called Finding Wisdom, which is a book of how I have
learned wisdom from people who have severe mental illness. I provide true stories
of how they have shown me spiritual wisdom. I also have a passage from scriptrue
for each story and a prayer. One publisher is interested when it is
completed. Two publishers have offered me a contract, but it would cost more
money than I have.Check out my poems and articles on authorsden! . Thank you
for reading about me and my book. I have much I would love to share .
My hope is that Joyful Surrender will help you with your own spiritual path.
Please check out my poems and see what
you think. I try to have some message of hope of some kind in them.I am looking
for a traditional publisher. I know that is a huge challenge, but I tend to be
persistant and patient at the same time. I also try and be very positive. If you are a
publisher or agent feel free to contact me if you have questions. If you know of
anyone who might be interested in my poetry or would like information about my
manuscripts please let me know. I have heard that I am easy to work with and I do
make all my deadlines. You can contact me on my new website, which is
www.cindytuttletheauthor.com.
