Pennies on the Tracks by Danny Lee Ingram
Dangling from a rope in an Appalachian cave or trembling from vertigo on a canyon ledge, wrestling a chain-scarred boulder or arguing with a wily Leprechaun, Ingram's short story characters bring to life humor, challenge, regret, and hope. After decades of procrastination, a field worker finally decides to attend his high school reunion. Another character seeks understanding of a journey into the ...

Glass Cuts the Shadow by Danny Lee Ingram
Images prevail in this book of poems, poems that stimulate the senses and range from haiku to blank verse to free verse on the cutting edge. Break-ups, reality checks, and tongue-in-cheek humor all present sharp edges that cut through the mask, pierce the skin, or tickle the fancy....

Thank you for your interest in Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording for your book or manuscript. I record your work using my voice, the product of over three decades of performance as a singer/musician, disc jockey, emcee, actor, and English professor. Just click on one of the samples above.

I narrate in a literary fashion, such as George Guidall and others (check your library), so this is not a radio play with various voices and sound effects. Even so, you will find that a comparable service to mine still charges thousands of dollars.

The Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording fee is easy to calculate:
1 cent per word, using Microsoft Word's "Word Count" on entire pages.
If hardcopy only is available instead of computer files, the word count is averaged.

A 60,000 word book would be $600 total. However, consider that selling only 30 copies of this audiobook at $20 each would pay for its recording!

When the audiobook is completed, you will owe NO royalties to Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording OR to me, NOTHING, ZIP! Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording or I will hold absolutely NO rights whatsoever to the audiobook you have recorded.

As the final product, Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording produces master CDs that clients receive and can copy. The client may also choose no CDs with only MP3 files on YouSendIt.com for easy downloading and copying or a combination of both. A list of CD reproduction companies is at the end of this page, but self-copying is the least expensive.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE:
1. If wanted, periodic updated CDs or MP3 files online.
2. When completed, TWO (2) FULL CD SETS of your audiobook, either in CDA format (for regular CD players) OR in MP3 (for iPods, MP3 players, etc.), OR one set of each.
3. By request, your audiobook can also be available on YouSendIt.com in a PRIVATE location for your download access for a limited time of storage.

For those who wish their audiobooks to be on their MP3 players (iPods and such), I will upload your entire audiobook to YouSendIt.com, where you can download the entire audiobook in one large MP3 file or in separate chapter files to your computer and then upload such into your MP3 player for NO EXTRA FEE. YouSendIt.com transfers files that are too large for e-mailing.

Books are recorded originally in whole chapters to keep CDA (CD player/audio) tracks properly separated.

Partial payments are acceptable. For each $50 minimum or more paid, AND if at least one chapter is covered, a progress file with one or more whole chapters will be mailed to the client or uploaded to YouSendIt.com. Any leftover funds will be added to the next minimum payment as a CREDIT. The next payment must be within one month of the previous payment.

I accept no payment under $50 because of setup, recording, engineering, account tracking, and shipping (if any).

U.S.A. payments:
1. PayPal (preferred: owned by eBay).
2. United States Post Office money order (no other kind).
3. Checks (U.S.A. only) made out to "Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording."
For checks or e-checks, expect at least 5 business days for funds to clear AFTER arrival and deposit.
4. Send cash at YOUR own risk.
For U.S.A. I PAY SHIPPING AND CD COSTS.

NON-U.S.A. payments:
PayPal ONLY. ADD $10 FOR NON-U.S.A. SHIPPING.
HOWEVER, I STILL PAY CD COSTS.

Each payment is its own contract, and neither party is obligated to continue beyond fulfillment of that particular payment.

Notice: you or your mass producer creates your sleeves and labels for your CD copies. I leave those items up to your own creativity.

For reproduction of copies of your audiobook master, Taylors Ridge Audiobook Recording endorses
www.CreateSpace.com (owned by Amazon)
www.Lulu.com
www.CDBaby.com

or Do-It-Yourself (the least expensive method).
