My father passed away when I was young and this has had a profound influence on my writing. My first novel "Surfing Treasure's Wake" explores my feelings through the eyes of a young man who is estranged from his father and longs to fill that void.
My major influences are the color and culture of Amelia Island, Florida, home of current and past pirates, modern day treasure hunters, surfers, shrimpers and the true individual that exists in all of us.
My favorite author is Thomas Pynchon. Read "Gravity's Rainbow." It's like having six movies playing in your head at the same time, very cool.

"Surfing Treasure's Wake" is my first published novel. It is the first in what I call "The Amelia Island Adventure Series." I have a sequel entitled "The Cardinal Pirate", which is currently published and a threequel entitled "A Brother's Loyalty", which is currently in development.
I've also published a satire entitled "The Baby in the Bag, A Politically Incorrect Tale". This is a humorous look at political incorrectness and how those who are "offended" actually use this situation as a way to futher push their agendas.
I'm still looking for the right agent. Now of any good ones?
