I was born on a farm in north Georgia and my first memories were working in the cotton fields.    Since I was the oldest, I worked at any part time job I could find to help support the family. 

I loved to read while I was in school and always had my head in a book.  I graduated with the highest grades in my class, but I was more proud of the award I received from my librarian, Mrs. Ward, for checking out more books than anyone in the history of Cassville High.

Afterwards I joined the Air Force to see the world.   That part never worked out, because after basic training, I was stationed at Eglin AFB for the next four years.  The one advantage was that it allowed me to attend extension classes from the University of Florida and accumulate over two years of college credits.  Four years later, I left the Air Force with that same inch to see the world.  I had a cousin who worked for an English construction company and found myself leaving the United States to work with him.   

I still didn’t get to see  all the places I dreamed of but I did get to see part of it.  For the next five years I worked mostly in the islands, Panama, Central and South America.  I came back to Atlanta Georgia, got married and we had two wonderful children.  I attended De VRY Institution of Technology where I receive a degree in computer control electronics.  In the late sixties I tried working in computers but could make more money in construction.   

My first wife and I divorced and three years later I met and married Rose Marie, the love of my life. In 1990 I injuried my left hand.  During the five operations and a year and half out of work, I began writing, first using a pen and paper and then later a computer.  Rose Marie was right by my side, editing my work and encouraging me.  Not being able to work in construction, I became a Real Estate Agent and then a Broker, but now my love is writing.  I can't  stop.

Now I own a small Real Estate company, but spend most of my time writing and marketing my books.  I am on my fifth novel and have five more outlined in the computer.
