Frank is a retired RN who last served as hospice clinical manager for a large midwestern health system. Throughout an eclectic career spending many years as an emergency room nurse in an inner city level one trauma center, as well as serving as an oncology clinical educator, a former chief deputy coroner, bartender, coal miner, and paratrooper stationed in Northern Italy, Frank has had the opportunity to meet many people in many parts of the world. These have all served to influence his writing in one way or another. Retirement now brings an opportunity to write after so many years and not enough time. Frank also volunteers for the local hospice organization and at his local parish.
Frank and his wife, Kitty, live in a log cabin in North Central Ohio. Their menagerie includes a hopelessly plump elderly yellow Labrador Retriever named Gracie, and a 160 pound three year old Newfoundland named Hannah. Hannah is loving, loyal, and enthusiastic but she has absolutely no understanding of personal space. Add to this a ragged Maltese, who believes himself to be commodore of the ship, and I suspect you might get the picture.
Frank has two adult daughters; Andrea and Lindsay, and one absolutely perfect granddaughter named Madalyn, who all live in Portland, Oregon where they are perpetually missed.
