The first and the simplest emotion that we discover in the human mind is curiosity. Edmund Burke

Frank is a retired RN who last served as hospice clinical manager for a large midwestern health system. Throughout an eclectic career, spending many years as an emergency room nurse in an inner city level one trauma center, as well as serving as an oncology clinical educator, a former chief deputy coroner, bartender, coal miner, and paratrooper stationed in Northern Italy, Frank has had the opportunity to meet many people in many parts of the world. These have all served to influence his writing in one way or another. Retirement now brings an opportunity to write after so many years and not enough time.

Frank and his wife Kitty live in a log cabin in North Central Ohio where they are joined by their 160 pound, one year old Newfoundland named Harry. Harry is loving, loyal, and enthusiastic, but tragically, he was born without a brain.. Add to this a fourteen year old, ragged Maltese, who believes himself to be commodore of the ship, and I suspect you might get the picture.

Frank has two adult daughters; Andrea and Lindsay, and four absolutely perfect grandchildren, Madalyn, Peyton, Will, and Hazel, who all live nearby.
