Farm Boy, Author, Musician, Bookworm, and, most importantly, a believer in Jesus Christ.

Background Information

I am very thankful that I have been raised in a Christian home, and that Jesus is the Lord of my life. This may come as a surprise to some, but I would not be the author that I am today without Jesus.

I wrote my first real short story when I was twelve; quickly finding out that I enjoyed writing, although I was not very good at it. I attended a writing class for a year, which drastically improved my writing skills and helped me to more accurately transfer my thoughts to the page.

One of my favorite authors is G. A. Henty; if someone said that my work was nearly as good as his, then I would consider myself a successful author, (although it is not there yet). I have also been influenced somewhat by the writings of Gilbert Morris and Howard Pyle.

My goal in writing is to provide wholesome Christian stories that will be helpful to whoever reads them; stories that promote Christian character, virtue, and reliance upon God. This is the reason that I often include scripture passages and prayers in my work.

Birth Place
San Jose, WA U.S.A.
Accomplishments

When I was thirteen I broke the world record for bench press by nearly ten pounds. I also won several trophies, including one from the county fair during the time I was in 4-H.

Additional Information

I am currently working on another medieval story which will come out as soon as it is completed. The prequel, "The Adventures of Cledwyn," is included in the links below. You will have to become a member of the website to read the stories below, but everything is free and I have not had any security issues with it.

Favorite Links

Author Autobiography
This is another site where I have posted most of my stories. The link will take you to the page about me and the stories I have written are at the bottom of the page (there are two pages of titles so don't forget to view the second, as it contains some of the better ones).

Achaeus of Athens
The setting for this story is in ancient Greece, Athens to be more specific. Achaeus and his sister are enslaved by the Athenians and condemned to a life of drudgery through no fault of their own. Then, a stranger comes and gives hope to all that see him; hope of a freedom that trancends this life.

A Story in a Hole
A story about how a young man gets lost in a desert and then finds a rather strange old man who teaches him about living in the desert.

The Adventures of Cledwyn
The life of a family caught in the middle of the Wars of Welsh Independence. They suffer many losses in the conflict but find a way to turn sorrow into joy.
