From 1957 to 1959, I flew over 3600 hours in this plane as an Air Navigator with the Navy. We flew for over 14 hours each flight from Midway Island in the Pacific to Alaska and back.

I have to admit that I've been a bit sluggish with my book six. However, I have journeyed into a different kind of writing; writing that is surprising to me more than to my audience. I started a blog. http://www.capecodtoday.com/blogs/index.php/HistoricHarwich .
Here, every week I discuss the developments of a cultural center in Harwich, MA and most recently, I formed a group called the Harwich Center Initiative/Historic District Revitalization Committee to make the Harwich Historic District a tourist destination. While these projects have driven me off track from my usual fiction writing, I find that I feel quite good about this kind of writing. It's the first time in a long time that I have gotten in touch with some of my deeper goals and aspirations.
