Robert Frost said, "No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader." You shouldn't read my books unless you're prepared to cry, but you can also expect to laugh a lot, to cheer at times, and get fighting mad.

My love for books began when I read Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm as an eight-year-old. Since then, I have never been without a book. My favorite is Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, which I've read eight times so far. I also love books by Stephen and Tabitha King, John Grisham, Barbara Kingsolver, Joshilyn Jackson, Jeff Lindsay and--one of the greatest wordsmiths I've ever read--Rick Bragg.
I started writing True Blue Forever on my thirty-ninth birthday, figuring I had only one more good year before it was downhill all the way. Now, with three books published and my fourth in the works, I am happy to report that the old adage "Life begins at forty" is true!
Birth Place: Chickasaw, AL USA
Accomplishments: I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class, and I've won several awards from my various employers, but the accomplishments of which I'm the proudest are my three beautiful, gifted children--TJ, Tia, and Treasure.
