Born and raised in the Southern Appalachians, where storytelling is a birthright, I've spent my entire life creating and collecting stories - some based on real people and events, some created. Husband (once), father (twice), grandfather (four times), I enjoy reading, writing, and classic movies. During my adult years, I've lived and traveled in the East, the Southwest - an area that left an indelible impression on my minds eye, and the Midwest, observing and mentally recording events, names and faces for my writing.

Accomplishments: None yet - still hopeful
