Being raised in a single-parent family made me into the strong and independent woman that I am today. We were in church every Sunday. I never imagined that I would be a published author because my ultimate goal was to go to law school. I guess while I was making plans for my life, God already knew what He wanted me to do. I believe that if you are given a talent from God you should not let that talent go to waste. This belief brought my first novel to life.

I recently started my own publishing company with my husband, Marlow Taylor. The name of our company is Lucy Rose Publishing. My second novel Fast Lane (The Changes Relationships Go Through) is our first imprint. I am currently working on my 3rd and 4th novels. It has been a very exciting and rewarding experience for me and I am proud to see my dreams coming true.
