I have always had a love for animals, in fact I don't remember a day in my life where they have not been there. I was always in love with horses, they are such beautiful creatures and each one I was with had its own personality. I worked even as a young girl with veterinarians, I didn't always get paid, but I loved it. I remember pestering them until they would give in and let me ride with them to do horse calls. They were great role models and I appreciated each one of them. When I wasn't with animals I was either drawing them or writing about them, most of my work I kept to myself. Then I grew up, got married, had kids. My life revolved around children and animals. It was a wonderful time, I was like a kid growing up with my children. The book "Miss Ginny The $50.00 Pony" started out as a letter to my children to let them know how much I enjoyed being with them. I was going to make a scrapbook and give them each one. I had a very good friend type it up for me and she wondered why I didn't have it published for a childrens book. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea. Miss Ginny was a real pony that the whole family loved very much. She passed away from old age, but now she will live forever.The many memories and moments I had with my children and Ginny will always be cherished. I am grateful to every parent who gives their child "Miss Ginny" to read and open up a world of horses,everyday adventures and family values.

I am presently writing 2 more books for children,hopefully they will be done within this year. Also, I have had so many requests to write more on "Miss Ginny" that I will write another book on her and other horses that we had. I own 11 Basset Hounds, 1 mixed breed dog that eats cars, trucks, and anything he can sink his teeth in.(Budda is a story in himself, which I will write a book about). I also have 1 cat and 4 chinchillas. I run a small pet hotel(something I always wanted to do)and enjoy it as much as writing.
