Lisa Zaran is an internationally published poet and essayist. She has authored six collections including If It We, The Blondes Lay Content and the sometimes girl. Zaran is founder and editor of Contemporary American Voices and Little Lark Press.


Background Information

Born in Los Angeles in 1969. Moved over 60 times before the age of twenty. Poetic influences include: Bob Dylan, Machi Tawara, Ho Xuan Huong, James Whitcomb Riley, Sylvia Plath, Fernando Pessoa, Theodore Roethke, Rainer Maria Rilke and countless others.
