I am a retired physician in north central Florida. My major influences are Joseph Campbell, William Blake, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Carl Jung. Long live heroism, and let us, through literature, learn to understand the shadow side of the human psyche.

I have a beautiful ten year old daughter who is intelligent, talented, and well-behaved. She scored in the 99 percentile on a national exam that rates private schools, and she made the volleyball team. Oh, yes, and I won Horse Shows In The Park 2007 Year End Reserve Champion with my horse, Hot Chocolate. And I was competing against teen-agers!
