I am the seventh child from a family of eight. I am the youngest daughter. I was born in Stilwell, OK. My father was a Baptist minster and he walked and preached all over these Oklahoma hills. He started a lot of churches in this area. My parents taught us to respect ourselves and other people.
I went to several schools as a youngster, but ended up going to high school in Stilwell. I quit in my junior year got married. I went on later and got my GED and went on to college. I got BA in a double major in Behavioral Science and Creative Writing. I got a year on a graduate degree.
I have been a Church Councilor since college but my heart is in my writing. I didn't just learn to write in college for it came easy for me. I have been writing poems ever since I was very young.
I got my talent for writing poems from my dad and my grandfather. They could make a rhyme at the drop of a hat, so writing has always been real easy for me. I have published one book of poetry. I have enough poems written for another. I also am finishing a novel that will be published very soon. I also do personal poems for gifts. God bless you.

Accomplishments: I belong to the poets society and I have won POETS CHOICE AWARD SEVERAL TIMES. I won an electric typewriter twice on poems I had written. I just finished my first novel MY LONESOME DOMAIN. It is being printed now and should out in a few weeks. Now that the novel is finish I am working on a poem book entitled INSPIRATION FROM THE SOUL. It should be out soon also.
