My yellow brick road was paved on Hawkeye streets at the University of Iowa and refined by the Talented Tenth at Chicago State University. While writing Double Dippin', one thought was at the forefront of every keystroke:  Creating a contemporary novel that will make my professors proud and will bring life to any classroom discussion.

Five lives collide on an explosive, nonstop rollercoaster ride through life-altering territory. A year ago, none of them could have known that one would be in jail, another dead, and all their lives turned topsy-turvy.
