As a child I lived on a farm. There were cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, a mule named Jack, cats, dogs, and wild birds and critters coming and going.
Factories were something that existed in the city where they build cars or tractors. There was no such thing as a factory farm.
In Chicken Balloons Emily comes across an Eggplant where Eggman raises Whopper Chickens feeding them special Whopper Chicken Feed. The chickens are locked in little cages - they even have a chain attached to one foot.
Eggman has some cool ideas about what he can do with these chickens to make money. If he can do it with chickens, why not the other animals too
