ROBERT HAMMOND is a screenwriter and author of Grace Period: The Awakening of Abel Adams. Hammond is best known as a consumer advocate, spokesperson for Capital One Financial and the bestselling author of several books on consumer issues and personal finance, including Identity Theft: How to Protect Your Most Valuable Asset, Life After Debt: Free Yourself from the Burden of Money Worries Once and for All, and Credit Secrets: How to Erase Bad Credit. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology and is pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. Hammond has worked as a program manager and consultant with several governmental, nonprofit and private organizations. He has provided counseling to thousands of individuals and was instrumental in establishing Riverside County’s (CA) alternative dispute resolution program. Hammond is a highly sought after public speaker and has appeared on hundreds of radio and television talk shows. He lives in Southern California.
