I have been writing in one way or another pretty much since I could write.  I have a desire to create emotional response to my work, which often leads me down strange and unusual paths.  As far as individual influences, there are too many to mention, however I will say that I grew up only a few miles from the famous Hoosier writer George Ade, a sort of urban Mark Twain of the early 1900's.  My writing has been inspired by everyday living and looking for ways to "think outside the box".
