~Live Simply That Others May Live~

I've been focusing much of my energy in the last several years on writing and then beyond that to publishing the words I've written. 

There are many beliefs I hold fast to - love, laughter, peace and creativity chief among them.  There is no greater sense of satisfaction for me than achieving and rejoicing for any of them.

Quite simply, I am a woman who firmly believes that I am a late bloomer - arriving just in time to make life interesting!  I'm passionate about my family, my friendships, and my writing.

I love the idea of challenging beliefs and stereotypes.  I on the one hand am capable of writing soulful poetry, while on the other hand I am able to write pretty decent erotica.  The poetry has always been considered more mainstream, yet both genres require talent in my opinion.  Writers, like many other professions, are afraid of being labelled or pidgeon-holed into one single genre.  I am no different. My writing is diverse in its very existence, and I like it that way.  I want to challenge the reader, make them feel things, explore their own beliefs, even perhaps offer them insight into other ways of thinking.  It's a lofty goal, I admit, but one I have set for myself, and one that I intend to achieve.

So, welcome to my den - where coloring outside the lines is not only allowed, it is encouraged!
