He is also a contributing reviewer to Mick Martin & Marsha Porter's Video Movie Guide. Bolton's influences include Ian Fleming, Mickey Spillane, Clive Cussler, Robert B. Parker, Stephen King, Tom McGowen and Harry Harrison.
