Stephanie Zia is a British writer and journalist who originally trained and worked as a researcher and producer on BBC TV arts documentaries. Author of several novels and non-fiction books, she has written for a variety of publications including The Sunday Times, Prima, Which? and Woman’s Own. For many years she was the cleaning guru for The Guardian newspaper’s popular Space Solves column. She has shared her top cleaning and stain removal tips on several BBC radio shows including BBC Radio 5 Live’s Richard Bacon Show and BBC Ulster’s John Toal Show. Stephanie’s healthy household tip guide Done & Dusted – The Organic Home On A Budget, a follow-up to Stain Removal – The Really Useful Guide (Hamlyn), is now published as a paperback in both the UK and US. Her latest novel is Ten Good Reasons To Lie About Your Age, a romantic comedy for the Bridget Jones generation who don’t feel they’ve grown up yet let alone old. Stephanie lives in London with her partner and teenage daughter.
