Footprints In My Life Journey
Theodocia McLean’s book, 'Footprints In My Life Journey’ is a not meant as a medical guide or instructions for anyone with Bi-Polar, Depressive Disorders and other Mental Illness. It is as the author intended, “A Daily Life Self-Discipline Workbook” to be used as a tool to accomplish daily tracking with as little or as much journaling as one desires. She gives enough examples and choices to check off each day so that little journaling is necessary. She gives permission after the purchase of the workbook, for the user to save the bonus day at the end to copy and continue to use in a notebook as the reader needs. Her desire is that the workbook will be used as a tool to track daily moods, goals, successes, regressions and track medicines and their side effects. She hopes that the results of this daily tracking workbook will be shared on a regular basis with one’s mental health providers.
Time Traveler's Postscripts-Journal of a Time Traveler
Theodocia McLean’s book 'Time Traveler’s Postscripts-Journal of a Time Traveler' began as a class project, took on a life of its own and is now the first book in a series that she is writing. Her main character says, “Think about the job interview that changed your life. For me, it was the interview for a reporter position with ‘Time Traveler’s Postscripts’. As it turns out, my job description is beyond my wildest imagination. They want me to travel back in time, in what they call a ‘Diamond Pod’. It is the year 3010 and our ‘Diamond Pod Missions’ begin”. Come travel with her and take an adventure in a ‘Diamond Pod’ back into Biblical history.
The Nephilim Phenomenon
Theodocia McLean’s book, 'The Nephilim Phenomenon', is a unique approach to the "Nephilim" (offspring of fallen angels and human copulation). This might possibly be Theologians best kept secret. This is a fictional account of the "Nephilim" Phenomenon briefly described in the Bible. Her premise is that fallen angels survived the great flood that wiped out the earthbound Nephilim. This fictional accounting is set in the backdrop of a convention of people who are experiencing encounters with these fallen angels who have both de-evolved and evolved with an insatiable lust and the question remains, is this half-breed among us today?
The Stormy Side of Theodocia
Theodocia McLean was born on Beals Island, in Downeast Maine, in 1954. After being adopted twice, she longs to be connected to the Island and to her roots.
Her love for writing began when her fifth grade teacher captured her imagination with creative writing assignments while she was living away from home in a harsh, punitive private school environment.
A song that she sings everyday is the only link that she has to Clara, her one special friend, who made daily life bearable for a short time in that dreadful place. She longs for the day when someone, even a stranger, will show her the proof that she desperately needs on whether her friend really died that terrible day.
‘The Stormy Side of Theodocia’ deals with her life from 1954-1977. Writing is therapy and telling her story takes her experience out of the shadows into the light. She hopes that her readers will muster up the courage to tell their story and thus begin their own healing journey.
