Erotic romances so heavy with sexual heat that it sizzles off the page.

Background Information

My life as a writer in the corporate world pays the bills but doesn't scratch my creative itch. What does scratch that itch is capturing the stories and poems that arise from the voice of my heart and soul.

After selling over a dozen romances to the confessions magazine, I wrote my first erotic romance, an ebook called Hot Summer Fling and contracted it with Lyrical Press ( My second erotic-romance-in-progress is about a lusty American woman who falls for a lusty Irish man.

My alter-ego, Sophia Ryan, has a YA ebook called In The Bad Boy's Bed with Noble Romance Publishing ( My second alter-ego (as yet unnamed) is writing two spicy contemporary romances and hopes to get them to market soon.

Passion is a major theme in my work, no matter which name I use. When I'm not writing about passion, I'm indulging in it -- yoga,  hiking, laughing with friends over hot chile and cold beer, and watching the Sandia Mountains turn the color of ripe watermelon at sunset.

Sold more than a dozen short romances and had two novella-length romances published.

Hot Summer Fling
Home from college on summer break, Lily Rios is bored to tears after only a week. Just when she's ready to run back to school early, she reunites with Jack Turner, the one who got away. Back in high school, Lily had let others convince her Jake wasn't the "right" kind of guy: no money, no status and no power. Now that she's grown up and calls her own shots, she discovers just how very right Jack can be. Their hot, steamy trysts give her mind and body satisfaction she never imagined until startling accusations threaten to tear the lovers apart a second time.

Work in Progress
A steamy piece featuring an Irish hunk (Sean) and an American beauty (Kristin). Here's a preview... Sean drizzled kisses like rain over Kristin’s naked body, running shivers up her insides, trillions of tiny sensations awaking in hunger. She threw her head back and let his talented lips do incredible things to her neck, her nipples, and the underside of her breasts. Let them dance across her ribs, tease her belly, her navel. His hands joined in, caressing her flesh, slowly, carefully, as if he didn’t want to miss a single inch. His warmth penetrated everywhere he touched, causing wave after wave of desire to crash through her. He moved down, past the volcanic vee of her crotch, to paste kisses on the inside on her right thigh. When he got to within an inch of her pu**y, he moved to the other leg, repeating the exquisite torture. He slid both hands down her legs and palmed her mound, pressing against it with the heel of his hand, kneading. He parted her damp lips with his thumbs, gently, like he was opening a delicate and rare treasure box, and placed them on her c!it. Clipping the flesh between both thumbs, he gently rubbed it to a tiny peak. She cried out in pleasure. “Ah, Sean. It feels so good.” “Hold on, love. There’s more.”
