Raised on the Ponca and Santee-Sioux Reservations and born into Ghost Society.
When I received my PhD, my Omaha grandmother Springer asked me "what do they know?" I told her "nothing." She smiled and said, "then go teach them, in a good way."
Became a grandfather at 35...and was given my first born grandchild/grandson, since then have and am raising seven grandchildren in my home and have five more less than a block away. We are placed here to prepare the next generations to be able to prepare the next generations....that is our only purpose.
