A child of the seventies and eighties, lost between generations, pulled in opposite directions by the influences of John Lennon and Gordon Gecko; a hypocrite of self challenged by Judeo-Christian morality and libertarian freedom. Forced to retreat into a mind compelled to express and a desire to withdraw. Seeking only the higher truth that evades us all in this limited feeble form of existence and wondering if its all just a cosmic joke, a hopeful but fruitless struggle that only ends in darkness....or not.
Pay no attention to the dramatic ramblings of this psychotic! I only mean to express my distaste for being caught in between. I write to entertain myself as well as those who are willing to give my stories a look. I love the classics: Twain, Defoe, Dickens; as well as more contemporary authors like Vonnegut and Poole. My favorite writer has to be Hemmingway. The truth and personal experience he brings combined with his direct style brings an honesty to his work that most writers seldom achieve.
