I've always wanted to be a writer, but real life kept getting in my way. Then I began submitting short articles to some local papers and was amazed that they were accepted. Not only that, but they paid me! I even had a short blurb picked up by Guideposts and actually began to consider myself a published author.
For years our family had a yearly planning weekend. We were often asked what we did and how we did it. In 2006 my husband asked me to put it in a written form that would make it usable to other families. Little did we know that it would become an eBook titled "Purposeful Planning" and that we were starting a business.
I made it available in July of 2007 and the response was well beyond my expectations. It is now available in eBook and MP3 formats and has a handbook available as well. It is sold at several of the major homeschool sites.
Several military families told us what a great resource it was to help them reconnect after being separated for weeks, months, or years so we continue to make it available for free to all military families. It's our way of saying thank you for serving us and helping to maintain our freedom.
