While driving through the gated lake front community filled with lavish custom built homes and towering pine trees, Mary turned to her friend and shouted, "Quick, stop the car!"
Fearing the worst, and seeing that her passenger had turned ghastly white Karen asked, "Why? What's wrong?"
"I feel a story bubbling up and I can't find a pen!"

Those who know me can attest, that's how I roll. There is usually an element of surprise in every situation, and always more laughter than the law allows. For me, it's not fun until someone laughs.
Currently I am working on an M.A. in Psychology, and work full time as a medical transcriptionist. Additionally, I am finishing my fourth novel, Twisted Tea of Coventry. My published work includes a comedic expose of dating disasters called, Internet Dating Just Bytes that I co-authored with a man I only know from acquaintance through the Internet. Previously I worked for 12+ years in the fire department as a firefighter/EMT.
My education and fire department experiences combined with raising eight foster children as a single parent has given me a very colorful view of human interaction. My desire to write is not only sparked by my creative desire, but more so by my fans who demand I keep them entertained with very credibly plausible, yet zany stories of human foibles and mayhem.
