Hi, I'm happy you stopped by! I hope I have the pleasure of your visit often as I'm pleased as I can be to introduce you to "From a Child's Perception". It's unlike any book on children I've ever read, so I guess that makes it less generic. I wrote it from the heart, and leave only positive thoughts as I relive an unpleasant childhood to benefit children today. I recognize a sadness and/or frustration in so many of our young people and I want nothing more than to make it go away. I also know far too much of this I'm sensing is being labeled "a phase" and not being seen for what it actually is, and in today's society I see this as a dangerous assumption. The only way I can do something positive to help others recognize what I see is thru my writing, and asking adults to give this book a chance to make a difference. I know many of these kids parents are struggling with the "why?" of the situation and I believe there's something of value in my past to help young people advance into their future, and ask only for the chance to throw some ideas out there and see if I've made my case. Perhaps the most it will do is entertain, but it's time well spent, as it's food for thought, my personal reasoning, and I leave the question of "what to do?" unanswered. This isn't my call to make, so no bad advice, only my experiences, and I've always heard "experience is the best teacher". The rest is up to my readers
My childhood and young adult years were massively dysfunctional due to ADD/HD, undetected Childhood Depression, and misunderstandings. These misinterpretations stole a childhood, but the last twenty plus years with the six young people in my life and their friends have been AWESOME!
I'm confident there is something to be learned from my childhood to benefit each and every child I can reach through my writings. I simply want every child to live the adult world less and enjoy all the wonders childhood has to offer.
I invite everyone to read "From a Child's Perception" and evaluate its food for thought for the child in your life and to post your review publicly to benefit others. I believe in this book with all my heart and want every child to have every opportunity to understand the adult world before they are forced to face it with limited resources to fall back on.
The reviews have been positive and humbling! I look forward to more of the same! It's been called "Inspirational", "Thought provoking", and "A must read". I look forward to hearing your thoughts, too!
