I am the author of The Corpse That Wasn't There, first book in the Junior Handlers Mystery Series from Fehrman Books.
In addition to my writing, I am also a professional animal communicator (a.k.a. pet psychic), a wildlife rehabilitator, and am very active in dog (Saluki hound) rescue and wildlife and farm animal rescue. I am a founding member of STOLA (the Saluki Tree of Life Alliance, Inc) and am on the board of directors of the New York Wildlife Rescue Center. I am also the moderator of an internet discussion list for Junior Handlers (kids who show their dogs).
All of these elements come together in the Junior Handlers Mystery Series, which in addition to being a fun read through exciting mysteries, is educational in that each book contains a glossary of information about dog shows and the other topics in the stories. In addition, a portion of proceeds from all sales of the books goes to Saluki hound rescue.
