Currently I work in Children and Family Services. My education is a mixed bag of inspiration, including both analytical and out of the box thinking. I have an undergraduate degree in Science and a Masters in Social Work, from the University of Oklahoma. Oklahoma is my home with a husband of more then twenty years, where we reside with two children of the four legged sort. In a previous life, (more then twenty years ago) I worked overseas and took advantage of the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. Many of my short stories are based on those poignant memories, some on other life events or stories of my four legged friends.

My two furry friends are certified therapy dogs. We both are in the community several times each month as volunteers promoting good mental health and reading.

Throughout my life I have discovered that dogs are our best friends. A friend is someone who likes you. On some days, some of us have many friends and on other days, some of us only have our dog to call friend. This site is dedicated to all dog lovers and their friends.
