I owe everything to my supportive friends and teachers from both high school and college. I have been published twice in FATE Magazine, Readers Digest, McCalls, International Library of Poetry, Reflections Magazine and Our Family Magazine from Toronto, Canada to name a few! Look for me in "Chicken Soup For The Soul" in 2004. I was also featured in an article in Poetry Now Magazine in England by David Taub. Wow! I'm International! "Living Crazy Like Fly" recently won the prestigous Clara Award for 2002, and was runner up for Best Biography of the 2002 Royal Palm Award. It was also one of the "Top Ten Picks for 2001" by Myshelf.com.

I have been touring with "Living Crazy Like Fly" for over seven years and still have several upcoming events and booksignings. I am a national spokeswoman for Safe Place and I am trying to raise money for Safe Place with some of the proceeds from my story. I appreciate any and all reviews and/or help in that regard. I have thoroughly enjoyed lecturing at the colleges, especially University of North Florida in Jacksonville,and also at the area high schools and middle schools. I am available to do more in the future. I also enjoy speaking to any other book clubs, women's/men, rotatary clubs, organizations, writing classes or groups giving motivational engagements on the topic of "Going After Your Dream And Getting It" and "One Girls Story Of Surviving Abuse." Now available - "Open Mic Jacksonville" which features 45 North Florida Laurettes, and for which I am the creator/Director. This book, published by Ocean Publishing, is a collection of work of North Florida poets known and unknown to the Northeast Florida area. Some of the proceeds from this book will be donated to the Literacy Foundation.
Also stay tuned for the release of "Danczah", (the sequel to "Fly" the college years!) and also the re-release of "Living Crazy Like Fly", thickah, biggah, juicer, more pics, better edited.
Oh yeah...and the screenplay for the book is also done and being sent out as you read! YE-HA!!
