I am a Christian, a believer in the Lordship and divinity of Jesus of Nazareth. To me, His life, death and resurrection are the most important events in all of human history. I believe that in all things He is at work for good for all who have faith in Him and in His imminent return. I am also married to Sylvia, a wonderfully compassionate, intelligent woman, my lover and companion for 46 years. W

Background Information

Alvin Franzmeier - Born in rural southern Minnesota during the first one-third of the twentieth century, I experienced life around me change from a relatively simple rural way to the high-tech, complex, urban, pluralistic world of America today. Along with those outward changes, I saw many changes in the way people look at life, make decisions and express their beliefs. Today old values and principles clash in many arenas with the new. I write to reflect the lives of people struggling through those changes and the decisions they face because of them.
