Since the day during the Sixties when the world (or was it my TV?) turned from black-and-white into color, throughout the fleshy, drunken Seventies and then the No Decade of the Eighties--when we began experiencing the backlash of the disintegration of those original values--into the Nineties and now this new Millennium, in which we're experiencing the liberal abandonment of the First Amendment in favor of political correctness and a new fascism, I've traveled the country over and over, collecting dust and stories and sometimes some money, so that I may sit here now, way out in the sticks, and through fiction attempt to understand and perhaps redeem some of the times I've endured. It's either that or therapy.
