Born in Turku, Finland, he is now living in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been a criminal defense lawyer for 38 years and he had a law firm of his own. Now Carl is retired.
In 1961 he went to Germany to study medicine. After a couple of years he switched to international law studies in Bern and Hamburg. In 1965 Carl went to London for a year studying music, singing and classical dance. Finishing law school in Stockholm in 1975 he became a trainee at a law firm in Manhattan. He worked there for a year as he was appointed as an assistant judge in a district court in Sweden. In the year 2000 Carl took a Master in Law and It at the University in Stockholm. In March 2006 Carl retired but he was still working occasionally with returning clients. For the moment he has just one case going and then he will go fishing.
Carls hobbies are Music, Writing, Film and Gardening and genalogy. Twice a week he plays tennis and sometimes a round of Golf.
