Author, Writer, Retired College Professor, Dr. Chiropractor, Grandfather
After earning my advanced degrees from Eastern Michigan University, I taught physical education, American history and American government. I returned to my studies in 1977, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After practicing in Marietta and Swainsboro, Georgia, I moved to Athens, Georgia to write and practice.
My article, "Growing up with World War Two," was published in the Old Morgan County Magazine in 2000. My first novel, The Blankenschipf Curse, was published in 2007. Excerpts from that book were published in "O, Georgia!" A Collection of Georgia’s Newest and Most Promising Writers; and in Southern Distinction Magazine. My latest novel is Moochie’s Place.
I enjoy writing mystery and suspense novels placing characters in difficult situations creating a fast pace oage turning fiction novel.
Following the success of my prior novel “The Blankenschipf Curse”, author Jim Murdock recently published his new mystery action packed suspense novel “Moochie’s Place”.
The unique characters in Moochie’s Place align themselves with adventurous, kidnapping page turning obstacles with a small town restaurant setting. “Pretty Boy” the loud mouth talking parrot sees it all!
A Mystery Novel like no other, and what you have been waiting for.
