I was born in the small town of Southbridge, Massachusetts and found my love for words early, reading the likes of Jim Kjelgaard, Jack London and J.R.R. Tolkien. I put pen to paper at age twelve and wrote my first short story. I have been writing ever since, earning my Creative Writing degree from Long Island University, Southampton Campus in 1989. When not writing, I can be found in my family's jewelry store, repairing jewelry and studying gems and wishing I were writing!
