I spent forty years in industrial construction in Canada and the US. After retirement in 1989, I became a storyteller in the personna of Elijah Taber that soon lead to a writing career. The insights I gained in learning to write are available free to anyone at The Book Doctor page.

I earned a B. Eng (Civil) degree from McGill University in 1949. In 1999, I won the Volunteer of the Year Award from The Arkansas Museums Association. The fifty years in between these momentous events were filled with hard work, joyful times and a rewarding family.

As of December 31, 2005, I closed my business. My current emphasis is writing weekly articles in association with Banyon Publishing. (http://banyonpublishing.com). There are now over sixty articles on the Book Doctor site with a new one posted every Friday.
