It doesn't matter how many degrees one has to become a writer. Ones writing speaks for its self.
Keeping a journal of her poetry and short stories she has well over 300 poems and 169 short stories. Seven novels are in the making ranging from murder mysterys to romancing with inner devils. Of course all are laced with heated love stories and ice cold hatred towards one of the heroines victims. Currently she is working on her novel "The Chameleons." Here we will get a glimpse of what Cleveland, Ohio was like in the 1930's along with gangsters and coruption as well as mental and physical abuse that trail through three decades. Oh there is romance intertwined and even some ghostly visits.
Helen states, "Writing is my being. I am always composing no matter where I am at or what I may be doing. There are other areas of my life inwhich stories will be told. I have also been working on three children's picture books, and a novel. My motto is...."No matter what you do in life there is a story to tell...and I have many."

Being a mother of two grown children 35 and 33, a 15 year old grandson,and a granddaughter on the way, life has been full of treasures and adventures to write about. She has been married for 36 years and there are many humurous, adventurous, and breath taking stories to tell.
In May 2006 a collection of Poetry will be published, "Colored Snow Flakes" by Outskirts Press. Watch for the information on book signing times in your area. Also sometime at he end of August a series of children's picture books will be launched. The first book "Marcella's Wish" will be a hit for any age. It's about an elephant who wants to go back home to India but for the time being she is stuck in The WannaBe Circus....it's a place where many animals wanna be famous and get away from their home life.
