For many years I kept my writing a secret being afaid of peoples reactions.

But now I've learned it is better to let others see how I feel. I've learned that expressing myself through poetry lets me be myself. I feel at home here at the den being able to express emotions I once kept hid.

Years of ups and downs throughout my life has given my the insight to freely express my soul in the form of poetry.

Writing has become the only way I have to express my since my grandmother passed away in 2004. She was rock  & my shoulder. Now that she sings in heavens choir I turn to my paper and pen. No one understood me like she did. So now when I to vent I write it down and let my feeling flow.
