I have been writing ever since I can remember. My first poem was published at the age of 7 in my hometown newspaper...that poem was about a baby caterpillar. I have been significantly influenced through reading the works of others, and there are too many authors I admire to pick an ultimate favorite. However, my favorite novel of all time is still "Gone with the Wind." A close second is "Scarlett" by Alexandra Ripley. I read most types of fiction, including fantasy, horror, historical drama and romance. JRR Tolkien definitely deserves a mention here, as well as Anne Rice, Stephen King, Ian McEwan, Niall Williams, & Philipa Gregory. Favorite Poets include William Blake, Shakespeare, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Yeats, Byron, Shelley, and many, many more.

I recently published my 4th poetry collection, "Each Death Draws Us Closer," which is a work comprised entirely of Dark Love Poetry, in July 2009. My earlier works include "Fluidity of Creation," "Immortality Lives...", and "Burning Constellations."
