Associate of Arts degree and forty plus years of experience in the textile/apparel arena. Extensive travel in Mexico, Canada, England and throughout the U. S.
Previously wrote a weekly outdoor/travel column for the Travelers Rest Chronicle. Currently writing outdoor column and travel articles for the Anderson Independent Mail, Anderson, SC.
First novel, "Return to Oak Hill", is avalable from Booklocker.com and most of the major online bookstores as well as www.lwoodrowross.com. Second book, "Fly Rods, Good Dogs and Straight-Shooting Guns" is available from PublishAmerica.com and www.lwoodrowross.com.
A third novel is near completion and will focus on South Carolina and Montana in a suspense-filled fictional story centered around an actual historical natural disaster.

Interests are fly fishing, fly tying, photography, kayaking, hunting and travel. Currently writing a suspense, adventure novel based in Montana.
Big family with wife Margaret, three daughters, three son-in-laws and nine grandchildren. Our family is very musically inclined and love our Sunday afternoon jam sessions.

He is currently booking guided trout fishing trips in South Carolina, North Carolina and one major trip to Montana annually.
He enjoys fishing and vacationing in Alaska when possible.
