Terzian quietly wins her battles with determination. Caution! Flammable when rubbed the wrong way.

Background Information

Mary Terzian ( was born in Egypt to Armenian parents. She learned English in a local high school where her writing talents sparkled. She worked in several countries before immigrating to the United States in 1967.
Terzian's teachers played a significant role in her life by showing their trust in her writing abilities. Her articles and stories have been termed inspiring, fascinating, “laced with the perfect balance of humor and sarcasm . .  .” Some of her experiences are hilarious or outright  hair-raising.
Terzian’s articles have been published in Armenian, and in English-language newspapers, magazines, anthologies (Chicken Soup) and online (keyword: Mary Terzian). She has edited company newspapers and received two awards for her book and numerous awards for her articles and speeches.
On a personal level, Terzian has become a wolf in a lamb’s attire. As a single parent she has raised a charming daughter, sweated at household management including plumbing, painting, pruning trees and other jobs bigger than her shoes. She has jumped buildings, crossed oceans, and has handled lawsuits and IRS audits successfully.
