Since 1958 Louisa began to live visual and literary art interpretation. Her Mother told her the stories of her slave ancestory. She won numerous awards for her performances, including Army World Wide Best of Show Performing Arts while serving in the Army until 1984. She also won an Irwin Berlin Award Trophy recognition and other awards too numerous to mention. Her favorite honor was the opportunity to sing Nat King Coles, "The Christmas Song" with Lou Rawls in Concert in Korea, December 1983. He labeled her a performers performer.

She shares  her gifts with her church, Central Assembly of God and other local  churches, community organizations, schools, veterans formation. She is a life member of  Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Association.

Louisa is charismatic, inspiring and enjoys speaking and seminar leadership on Human Self Development.  She is an accomplished public speaker who calls herself, "Motivation by Louisa".

She has a gift of writing about real life experiences as she has known life. She also loves to laugh. She says God was showing off when He created  her, so it makes no sense to let creativity go to waste.  "Give God your best.

Philosophy:  Bloom  where you are planted and share the wealth of a smile.

Matthew 19:33 The Holy Bible

My play "Heritage of America", has been performed over 30 time in America and overseas for civilian and military audiences. The theme is a musical historical narrative of Black America. God allowed me to keep my voice after a surgical procedure, therefore, since I do not work I use my voice to praise God. I Currently minister as "Motivation by Louisa", to audiences in the Midlands of South Carolina.
