I was raised a Navy-brat and wouldn't trade those rich experiences for any price. I've spent my adult life "trying on different hats," everything from janitor to secretary to answering service operator to long haul truck driver, always looking for my niche in life. I finally accepted that that place was inside of me, in my writing, and was everywhere I went. Now all those experiences blend and reappear in my poetry and my short stories, and one day, when I begin to write novels, they'll be there too: all those people and places I've been fortunate enough to know and experience in my gypsy life.
