I've wanted to write books since grade school when I would staple stacks of loose leaf paper together, draw the book cover, do the title page etc. I wrote my first book at age twenty-two, but have yet to publish that one.
My experiences as a police officer and correctional officer flavor my writing and the extensive traveling I've done seasons it a bit more. I love New England and Canada and I've lived in Japan.
History, religion, music, law, medicine and true crime are passions of mine.
I once donated 107 books on the Holocaust to the local synagogue as I ran out of room for them. I am well on the way to replacing them! I also love to study foriegn languages such as French, German, Dutch and Hebrew.
I am a high school substitute teacher and a translator of French, German and Dutch to English. Free time is spent either writing, playing 12-string guitar or building model ships.
My current project is a nonfiction book about German soldiers on the Eastern front during WWII. I aquired 300 letters from Wehrmacht soldiers from a collector in Croatia and will base the book on their experiences. I have started research and translation of the letters that never made it home.
