The motivation behind my writing is my own personal experiences. I have been through so much and I hope that my book can help others to realize that you can rebuild your life, even if you have messed up terribly. I have met some very interesting people over the past couple of years. I draw on them for characters and plots. I am working on two more books right now, plus working a full time job as a Marketing Coordinator for a company in Greenville so my plate is very full, but I love it.

I guess my main achievement is getting published. My story is somewhat controversial and I am just glad I was able to get published. I havent won any awards, unless you count the award my daughter gave me for finishing my book - World's Greatest Mom and Author. It was cute.

I am new to this and learning as I go. I want to be successful. I love to write. I also love to listen. I like to hear other people's stories and how they have overcome obstacles in their lives. My dream is to be able to write full time and to devote more time to helping women who have been incarcerated as they re-enter society.
